A-CEART Received an affirmation phone call from Professor Denis A Cusack, Director of Forensic Medicine at University College Dublin (UCD) allaying our fears that the Saliva Chemical Device to Test Drivers for Drugged Driving may be too expensive. This is not the case.

A-CEART attended the RSA/GARDA/MBRS Christmas & New Year Launch in UCD today where Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport, Paschal Donohoe, T.D. announced new measures to combat Drug Driving.

A-CEART Receives IRVA - 'Global Light of Hope Award' at the Ceremony for World Day of Remembrance of Road Traffic Victims
in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

13/11/14: A-CEART had a meeting by invitation at Minister Joe Mc Hugh's Office, Minister for Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs to discuss all aspects of Road Safety.

07/11/2014: A-CEART received letter from the Minister for Justice & Equality, Frances Fitzgerald, T.D. in Response to issues raised in a letter to the Minister in July 2014.

A-CEART delivered a Presentation Information Stall to the Womens "Health & Happiness" Evening Organised by the North Donegal Community Network (NDCN) & DLDC in the Ballymore Community Hall, Dunfanaghy, Co Donegal by special invitation. A very relaxing social & networking event was enjoyed to a packed hall with lots of entertainment & refreshments enjoyed by all present. 

06/10/2014:
A-CEART attended the Road Safety Annual Academic Road Safety Lecture in Dublin Castle.
The issues/topics this year was:
"Fatigue, Sleep Disorders and Driving Risk"

A-CEART welcomes correspondence from the Minister for Transport,Tourism & Sport, Paschal Donohoe T.D. in relation to my campaign for a Device to test drivers for drugged driving. A further reply will issue as soon as possible.

A-CEART  received correspondence from the Garda Commissioner's Private Secretary to inform me that my earlier correspondence to the Garda Commissioner (in relation to my campaign & concern about drivers using a Hand Held Mobile Phone while Driving) has been forwarded to the Assistant Commissioner of the Northern Region of An Garda Siochana, Co. Sligo, for attention and further communication in due course.

10/09/2014:
A-CEART sent several follow-up letters to Minister's & Garda Commissioners on 10th Sept, 2014, in relation to a number of Road Safety issues and received prompt replies from most of them.

A-CEART received an acknowledge letter from the Private Secretary of Minister for Justice, Frances Fitzgerald, T.D. in relation to my correspondence following an Article/report in a National Newspaper.

10/09/2014:
A-CEART received an acknowledge letter from the Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Tourism & Sport, Mr. Michael Ring, T.D. @ the Dept of Transport, in relation to Sports Clubs in Dublin.
